Christopher Mason Chris Savino (Born October 2, 1971 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is an American animator. His biggest influence for the animation world was Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures because of the different animation style it had at the time of cartoons being made. He began his career in the animation industry on April 9, 1991 and has worked for Spümcø, Joe Murray Studio, Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Network Studios and Disney Television Animation and is currently planning a live-action short called Bigfoot & Gray: On the Run and an animated film called Adventures in Milk. He was also previously a writer for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. In June 2014, his short for Nickelodeon's The Loud House was green lit for a full series and debuted on May 2, 2016. In 2017, Savino was fired by Nickelodeon due to him having sexual allegations and Michael Rubiner took over as showrunner.

  • He has directed the third and fourth seasons for Tartakovsky's other show Dexter's Laboratory, since Tartakovsky left the show after its movie Ego Trip. Coincidentally, Samurai Jack came out the same year as the third season of Dexter's Laboratory.
