Master Chu is one of Jack's Teachers and the father and sifu (master) of Tam Sung. He is referred to by the credits as Grand Master.

Jack studied martial arts under Master Chu, particularly the skills needed to hone his senses so he could fight on any level. Although Jack initially expressed skepticism on fighting while blindfolded, Master Chu explained that a great warrior must rely on all his senses, not just his sight. Understanding his master's teachings, Jack resolved to train harder and ultimately achieved full mastery of his senses.
